The baffle demister is mainly composed of corrugated blades, plates, clips and other fixing devices. Its core components include the demister body, guide plates, support frames and cleaning devices. The support frame is used to fix the demister body and guide plates to maintain the stability of the entire device. The cleaning device automatically cleans the demister body regularly to ensure its long-term stable operation.
How does it work? Imagine the scenario of rain hitting a car windshield. When the wind blows the rain at a certain angle, most of the rain will slide off due to the shape and surface characteristics of the glass. Our demister uses the same principle. Moisture passes through a series of stainless steel plates arranged in a zigzag pattern. When the gas suddenly changes direction, tiny liquid droplets will hit the plates and adhere to them, forming a thin film. Each device is equipped with a sturdy frame to fix all components and built has-in spray nozzles for easy cleaning. You can set an automatic flushing cycle during equipment downtime, for example, every few hours, to remove any accumulations. This ensures smooth gas flow and keeps the pressure loss at a low level (usually less than 120 Pa). A low pressure drop means your fans don't have to work too hard, saving energy and reducing costs over time.

The blade spacing, number of stages and spray frequency can be adjusted according to the flue gas velocity (usually between 3.5 and 5.5 meters per second), achieving maximum efficiency without over - design.
How large droplets can it capture? Most devices can remove more than 95% of droplets with a diameter greater than 5 microns, which is thinner than human hair. For many factories, this is sufficient to meet environmental protection standards and protect equipment.
Moreover, since it is made of stainless steel, maintenance is very simple. There is no need for daily inspections, and there are no easily worn parts. Only regular flushing and visual inspections are required.
