HLP type desulfurization spray tower is the main equipment for SO2 absorption and purification. There are two types of spray tower: large size tower and small and medium-sized tower .It can continuously and efficiently purify flue gas in an instant. Because of the advantages of simple structure and mature technology, spray tower is widely used in large power plants, small and medium-sized industrial boiler flue gas treatment.
Refinement treatment of the internal anti-corrosion layer of the tower body:
1. Grinding, sandblasting and derusting of carbon steel tower after completion;
2. The tower is fully covered with 5mm thick FRP anti-corrosive layer;
3. Special high-strength resin cement coating;
4. 30mm natural granite lining is adopted, temperature resistance is 200°C, service life is designed for 30 years.

The double alkali method uses sodium base desulfurizer for desulfurization in the tower. Due to the strong alkalinity of SO2, the reaction product has a high solubility, which will not cause supersaturated crystallization and scaling.
Double alkali flue gas desulfurization technology is to use sodium hydroxide solution as the starting desulfurizer, the prepared sodium hydroxide solution directly into the desulfurization tower washing to remove SO2 in the flue gas to achieve the purpose of flue gas desulfurization. Desulfurization waste liquid is discharged into the regeneration tank for reduction and regeneration with calcium hydroxide. The regenerated sodium-based desulfurizer is then returned to the desulfurization tower for recycling. Under the condition of calcium hydroxide regeneration reaction, the desulfurization by-product calcium sulfate or calcium sulfite is discharged from the water body.
The double alkali desulphurization process reduces the investment and operation cost and is more suitable for desulphurization of small and medium-sized boilers.
The demister inside the desulfurization tower adopts a design combining two layers of baffle plates and three layers of flushing, which significantly enhances the demisting effect, effectively reduces the moisture content of the flue gas entering the wet electrostatic precipitator, and further improves the charging efficiency and dust collection effect.
